About the Photographer

My name is Lizzie Short and I am a photographer by hobby. Born and raised in Monterey, CA, I’ve had a front row seat to the most breathtaking views of California. My portfolio is not limited to the sights of California. Victoria Canada, Ketchikan, Alaska, the City of Skyscrapers, New York, New York; are some other locations, to name a few. I’ve learned how to preserve nature at its finest by combining my sense of adventure with my passion for photography, an equal balance that motivates me and allows me to tell a story through my vision.

I am passionate about animals and all things abandoned. My dog Stormii inspires me and because of her, I’ve learned to work with animals in their natural setting. My photography of all things abandoned, such as shipwrecks, old cars, and buildings, leave you telling your own story of what was.

In my current job with a sports and fitness company, I’ve learned what goes into a project, when I was given the opportunity to use my experience to furnish the photographs for a baseball publication. My resume also extends to portraiture. From young people on up to siblings, or Senior Portraits to special occasions like Engagements, Baby Announcements, and Weddings, my pallet of experience is vast.
